• Early literacy development and grade-level reading programs
• Summer reading programs for kids
• High-speed internet access
• Employment assistance for job seekers
• Braille and talking books for people with visual impairments
• Homework and research resources for students and faculty
• Veterans’ telehealth spaces equipped with technology and staff support
• STEM programs, simulation equipment and training for workforce development
• Small business support for budding entrepreneurs

Protect the Department of Education!

This dismantling of the Department of Education is a direct attack on students, teachers, and familys-- a move that only benefits right-wing extremists who seek to privatize education. Voice your opposition to H.R. 899 which would:

• slash federal funding for public schools
• eliminate support for students with disabilities
• end enforcement of civil rights protections in education
• abolish federal student loan and workforce development programs
